Members of the AkzoNobel Sikkens Acoat selected National Performance Group will gather August 17-19 at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center in Minneapolis. This group is comprised of some of the largest and most progressive collision repair centers in the North American market.

In addition to performance benchmarking with their peers, participants also will benefit from classes such as:

  • Lead or Get Out of the Way – This program will be lead by G.B. Outlaw of G.B. Outlaw and Associates noted for enabling effectiveness in organizational change management.
  • So, You Have a Facebook Page…Now What? – Lead by Helen Todd founder of Socially Squared a leading communication firm that specializes in social meida, participants will learn how to use and apply proven Facebook marketing strategies and techniques to grow a fan base and overall business with a meaningful Facebook presence.
  • 2011 Occupational Safety and Health Issues in the Collision Repair Industry – Will provide participants clear direction about roles and responsibilities when it comes to occupational safety in the workplace. This program will be lead by Michael Rumley with AkzoNobel’s Health Safety & Environmental organization.
The group will also have the opportunity to tour the 3M Innovation Center and Lab. 3M has more than 6,500 scientists and engineers in the R&D community. The work that is done in the center spans from abrasives and optics to nanotechnology and micro-replication.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Matthew Moore Vice President of the Highway Loss Data Institute. His topic for the program will be “How Advances in Technology, Safety and the Disposable Car Affect Vehicle Reparability.”

Additionally, the conference will contain an array of classes designed for AkzoNobel distributors. They will also take time to celebrate, as numerous awards will be presented recognizing business and personal growth achievements over the last year.
