Kadel’s donates turkeys to local food banks

On Nov. 19, Kadel’s Auto Body donated turkeys to local charities to feed families for Thanksgiving. Through the 18-location Kadel’s gift of giving, nearly 130 needy families in Tigard, Ore.'s local communities will be enjoying a beautiful turkey on the center of their Thanksgiving tables. This year, Kadel’s managers and employees provided turkeys to the Keizer Food Bank, the Salem Food Bank, the Hillsboro Salvation Army, St. Johns North Minister Presbyterian Church Food Pantry, SnowCap Community Charities in Southeast Portland and the Gresham Food Bank. Kadel’s also made cash donations in lieu of turkeys to St. Anthony’s Food Pantry in Tigard, Eugene/Springfield Salvation Army and the Boise Rescue Mission. “The employees and owners of Kadel’s Auto Body live and work in these communities,” says Don Braden, president and CEO of Kadel’s Auto Body. “When our neighbors have fallen on hard times, we are grateful that we can help.”
