Applications are now being accepted at www.sema.org/speakers for industry leaders to host a seminar at the 2018 SEMA Show taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada. The SEMA Show educational program, which begins on Monday, Oct. 29, and continues throughout the four-day trade show on Oct. 30-Nov. 2, 2018, is a key cornerstone of the automotive industry’s premier trade event.

Alongside the new product debuts and activity on the 1-million-square-foot convention center floor are dozens of seminars and workshops where industry professionals discover changes in the marketplace, learn best practices and gain insights to improve their businesses. Most of the seminars are open to credentialed Showgoers at no additional cost and topics focus on issues relevant to the automotive industry and small businesses. Small business leaders and industry experts are invited to apply to speak at the 2018 event. Below are several suggested topic areas:

  • Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) Software Simulations
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems Integration
  • Media Marketing
  • Cyber Security
  • The Future of Transportation
  • Growing Revenue
  • Hands-on Technical Training
  • Small Business Sustainability

Speakers should be able to focus on industry issues and not a specific company position or agenda.

"Industry professionals from all over the world come to and rely on the SEMA Show to help their businesses succeed," said SEMA Senior Director of Education Zane Clark. "The SEMA Show education program is a valuable resource to help automotive businesses stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices and hone in on new skills to advance their businesses and careers. We’re looking forward to developing the 2018 program."

Potential speakers may apply to participate in the program by visiting www.sema.org/speakers until Feb. 12, 2018. Speaker entries will be answered by no later than April 20, 2018. For more details, contact Zane Clark at [email protected], 909-978-6743.
