Less than a week after unveiling a new parts pricing system, General Motors announced today that the company would be "pausing" the MyPriceLink program "based on industry feedback to enhance and streamline the workflow for all collision industry partners."

The company provided no timeline for the resumption of the program which was scheduled to take effect December 1, less than three weeks after being announced.

GM caused a major stir in the industry with the announcement last week during the SEMA tradeshow that it would be discontinuing the publication of list prices for crash parts, in favor of a new, online and real-time pricing system that would always quote "competitive prices."
