The combination of bumper stamping in Ohio with plating in Minnesota and Oklahoma provides a supply chain solution to meet the expanded North American market demand for CAPA Certified and Diamond Standard front steel bumpers. These products carry the Keystone Platinum Plus limited lifetime warranty (for as long as the customer owns the vehicle), which exceeds many of the standard OEM warranties, and are available through Keystone's Assured Quality Replacement Parts ("AQRP") program.

This program leverages the industry's brand names, Diamond Standard and Platinum Plus, to address the need within the industry for high-quality parts, the companies said. Packaging of the Diamond Standard, U.S. made, CAPA Certified bumpers that are plated by Keystone Automotive will combine the brands of both companies in an easily identifiable package displaying both "Platinum Plus" and "Diamond Standard" logos for easy identification.

Diamond Standard said its commitment to the industry continues as its certified SKU count marches onward. To date, a total of 97 applications have been certified on both chrome and E-coat styles.

"The cooperative manufacturing effort being done solely in America means more U.S. jobs at a time when they are badly needed. Insurers and collision centers alike expect and demand verifiable quality and correct part delivery on all parts and specifically structural parts. As a certified manufacturer, we are confident our structural parts are safe and reliable as proven by their CAPA Certification," said Michael O'Neal, president of Diamond Standard.

"LKQ Corporation, the first certified participant in the NSF Distributor Certification Program, is pleased to announce this strategic alliance. As a forward step in our quality assurance evolution, this adds even another level of confidence in our quality products that we distribute," said Terry Fortner, LKQ's vice president of industry relations and market development.

Offering precision parts based on standards of material, fit, form and function, Diamond Standard parts are certified by NSF, MGA, and CAPA.

LKQ operates more than 450 facilities, offering its customers a broad range of replacement systems, components, and parts to repair automobiles and light, medium and heavy-duty trucks.
