The winners include:
Franchisee of the Year
Rookie of the Year
The Rookie of the Year in the CARSTAR family was Ken’s CARSTAR Body Works of Dalton, Ga., owned by Ken White. This award is given in recognition of the newest CARSTAR franchisee as it gets “up and running” with CARSTAR.
To qualify for the award, a franchisee must have been with CARSTAR less than three years, be well underway toward achieving Tier 1 compliance and enthusiastically embrace the CARSTAR culture with active participation. This year’s winner joined CARSTAR in 2010.
Outstanding Facility Performance
For the second consecutive year, the award for Outstanding Facility Performance went to Champion CARSTAR Collision in Hightstown, N.J., owned by Paul Edgcomb. The award for Outstanding Facility Performance is the second highest franchisee award in CARSTAR as it recognizes the facility that consistently shows high ratings in sales, gross profits, CSI, COS, tier compliance and active involvement both in the community and within CARSTAR.
Outstanding Technician Performance
The honor for Outstanding Technician Performance was awarded to Walt’s Autobody CARSTAR in Topeka, Kan., owned by Dean Koelzer. The award for Outstanding Technician Performance is given to the facility that produces the most hours and dollars per technician as indicated on the monthly flash reporting with all 12 months reporting.
Outstanding Office Performance
The award for Outstanding Office Performance went to CARSTAR Collision Care of Wilmington in Wilmington, Ohio, owned by the Theobald family. The award for Outstanding Office Performance is given to the facility that produces the most hours and dollars per front office personnel as indicated on the monthly flash reporting with all 12 months reporting.
“It takes a lot of innovative thinking, strong leadership and teamwork to satisfy so many customers while meeting the challenges of today’s economy and ever-changing business environment,” said CARSTAR CEO David Byers. “The national award recipients we’ve recognized during this year’s CARSTAR conference should be proud of their accomplishments. We can all learn something from their examples.”
