The $95,000 contribution from Allstate will support the foundation’s Collision Repair Education Campaign fund, which allows the foundation to provide its annual student scholarships, school grants, and the annual Ultimate Collision Education Makeover $50,000 school grant.

“Automotive design, technology and materials continue to evolve and require knowledgeable technicians that are properly educated regarding safe and effective repair methods,” says Allstate Insurance Company’s Claims Vice President Pam Overton. “The Collision Repair Education Foundation plays a significant role in the industry by generating awareness and funding for organizations that provide meaningful career opportunities in the field and Allstate is proud to support that mission.”

Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski said, “The Collision Repair Education Foundation is able to keep its doors open through our supporters and contributors. Allstate’s donation, the largest monetary donation that we have received in 2012, assists the organization in continuing to provide support to secondary and post-secondary collision school programs, students, and instructors. Allstate has nearly surpassed the $1 million total donation mark throughout the Education Foundation’s lifetime and without their support, the Education Foundation couldn’t fuel the future of the collision industry like it has over the years.”

Industry organizations looking to assist secondary and post-secondary collision school programs and their students through monetary and/or in-kind product donations should contact Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode at 847.463.5244 or [email protected].
