WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Automotive Service Association (ASA) announced that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) will be promoting its Safer Car Campaign at ASA’s International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas. ASA has joined NHTSA in the Safer Car Campaign, which provides vehicle safety information to the motoring public. 

The campaign’s Web site, www.safercar.gov, houses vehicle safety information and tests performed by NHTSA. You may also link to the Safer Car Campaign through ASA’s legislative Web site, www.TakingtheHill.com.

NHTSA will have a booth at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center Nov. 6-8 during the NACE Expo, and NHTSA representatives will also give special presentations at the ASA booth – N8609 – from 2-3 p.m., Thurs.-Sat. The presentations will be informational sessions on the Safer Car Campaign. NHTSA representatives will also participate in ASA’s press conference at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 7.
