The meeting rooms will be located on level 2 of the Morial Convention Center, near the ASRW Expo show floor in an area named, “The NACE Network.” The area will consist of small and larger private rooms, each equipped with comfortable furnishings, wireless Internet and a plasma flatscreen or screen projector equipped with a laptop connection. All registered ASRW participants (attendees and exhibitors of both NACE and CARS) are eligible to request a room in The NACE Network.

“Meeting space at our industry events can be hard to come by, creating obstacles to the business conversations and networking that we’ve all come together to do,” said Jim Dickens, senior vice president of the Automotive Service Group at CCC. “‘The NACE Network’ space is being created to better support the important business conversations and networking that define ASRW. Easier communication through a single location is what CCC ONE is all about, which makes this partnership with ASRW a natural extension of what CCC wants to do with and for the industry.”

The NACE Network will be available Oct 10-13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. In advance of the show, reservations can be made on a first-come, first-served basis by completing a form on the NACE or CARS websites. On-site reservations can also be accommodated at The NACE Network reception area on a first-come, first-served basis. Each room can be reserved for up to 90 minutes.

“To again accommodate all of the business that’s going on this week – both on and off the show floor – we are pleased to offer The NACE Network area as a close, convenient location to hold meetings during ASRW,” said Ron Pyle, ASA president. “It’s close to the show floor, but not on the show floor. It’s easy. It’s free. It was highly utilized last year, and we anticipate it being a busy area in New Orleans.”
