About H&V Collision Centers
H&V Collision Centers was started in the early 1970s by Vartan Jerian Sr., and today includes four locations throughout the Capital Region. H&V prides itself on customer service, and has earned a customer satisfaction ranking of over 97 percent. H&V also supports many community and charitable organizations, and H&V’s community service was recognized in a December 2012 cover story in the national trade magazine Fender Bender.
Along with expansion that positions H&V to be the largest multi-location collision repair operator in the Capital Region, H&V also implemented new technology and practices to make its four locations more environmentally safe. H&V also implemented modern management practices that reduced repair times and made its shops more efficient.
H&V was also the first shop in New York State to meet the high standards to be recognized by VeriFacts as qualifying for VQ (Verified Quality) Medallion status.
H&V Collision Centers, the largest independently owned collision repair facility in the Capital Region, will join with Progressive Insurance, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Exalta-Dupont Performance Coatings, LKQ Corp., and the Veterans of Foreign Wars to donate refurbished vehicle to a military serviceman on June 12.
The donation will take place at 11 a.m. on June 12 at the Progressive Insurance location on Central Avenue in Colonie. The June donation continues H&V’s commitment to supporting veterans and military families. In April, H&V and partners donated three refurbished cars to three military families following an Albany Devils hockey game.
The June donation will see a refurbished vehicle donated to an explosives ordnance disposal technician now serving with the U.S. Army.
“H&V Collision Centers recognizes the enormous contributions of our veterans and military families and are proud to join our partners in making another donation to a deserving serviceman,” said H&V’s Vartan Jerian Jr.
The April donation saw three vehicles presented to a married couple who are both veterans and parents of two children, a veteran of the Iraq War who is raising two young children with his wife, and a couple whose son was killed in Afghanistan.
H&V is proud to join with our partners in making this donation, and continuing a tradition of donating refurbished vehicles to families in need. H&V and partners have donated four vehicles in recent years to families with special needs children and survivors of domestic violence.
The donation of the vehicles by H&V and partners helps demonstrate the need to continue support for returning veterans and their families, said H&V’s Jerian. The refurbished vehicles are late model cars donated to H&V and then repaired and improved to almost-new standards.
