A deserving Charlotte, N.C. family received an early Christmas miracle this week with keys to a new car thanks to the volunteer efforts of Service King Collision Repair Centers and State Farm. The giveaway took place Thursday (Dec. 21) at Service King’s Concord location where the Johnsons, a local family of four with two young daughters, were presented the fully restored 2010 Nissan Altima.
The Johnsons were in dire need of a personal car to transport their four-year-old daughter with special needs to doctor visits and specialists nearly 45 minutes away. The family’s previous vehicle regularly broke down before the engine recently died, leaving them with no form of reliable transportation. That all changed after technicians from Service King volunteered time to fully restore the Altima in time for a Christmas surprise the family will never forget.

The giveaway is part of Service King and State Farm’s joint participation in the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides® initiative, which brings together insurance carriers, collision repair centers and local businesses to provide the gift of reliable personal transportation to those who need it most.
