Joseph Carubba, President of Carubba Collision Corp. will be honored as the 2014 recipient of the prestigious “Anthony M. Castiglia Achievement Award” at the Italian American Leadership Council’s annual St. Joseph’s Day Table celebration on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 6pm at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Rd., Depew, NY.
“Joe Carubba is a great Italian American leader in our community and more than deserving to receive this award” stated Italian American Leadership Council Chairman Charles M. Castiglia.
The Council was organized by successful Italian Americans in business and public service whose primary goal is to recognize and promote the best that the Italian American ethnic pride brings to Western New York.
Over the years, Carubba has generously supported several not- for- profit organizations such as; Make A Wish Foundation, Cradle Beach, Parkinson’s Foundation, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, YMCA, Food Bank of WNY, Niagara County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit, Mercy Flight, Wings Flights of Hope, Kenney Field Tonawanda US Navy Blue Angles Jet Restoration Project, Buffalo Niagara Victory Scholarship Awards, ECMC Trauma Unit, Tonawanda Police Department K-9 Unit and SWAT Team, City of North Tonawanda SWAT Team, NYS Golden Gloves, SUNY at Buffalo and the Boat Restoration for the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum to name a few.
“I am very grateful to have been selected for this recognition” said Carubba. “This is a day that my family and I will never forget and this honor is special because it is symbolic of my Italian heritage which I am very proud of” added Carubba.
