Kristin’s goal was to make sure her son could attend kindergarten and begin his educational journey. But that journey was hard without reliable transportation. It also made it hard for Kristin to work and provide for her family of three.
Recently, CARSTAR Quakertown presented the restored vehicle to Kristin and her family, who were selected by Keystone Opportunity Center, a Family Promise affiliate, at the location on 943 Rockhill Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. “Having a car is definitely a plus,” said Kristin. “I just started working full-time at Walmart. Getting the kids to the babysitter and to doctor’s appointments has been hard on public transportation with all three of them. The car will definitely be a help.”

About NABC Recycled Rides: Recycled Rides® is a nationwide community service project whereby members of NABC repair and donate recycled vehicles to families and service organizations.
