LORD Corporation — a leader in developing and manufacturing high-performance adhesives — announced a new fast-cure, low exotherm, urethane family of adhesives designed to speed up work truck manufacturing processes, at the Work Truck Show® 2018 in the Indiana Convention Center.
Used for heavy duty truck, service bodies, vehicle accessories, recreational vehicles, marine and trailer manufacturing, the LORD 7800 Fast-Cure Urethane Adhesive bonds engineering thermoplastics, painted and E-coated metals and composites. Faster assembly and cycle times are achieved in customer manufacturing processes and it cures like an acrylic adhesive – but with the flexibility and low exotherm of a urethane. The LORD 7800 two-component adhesive system can deliver extremely rapid cure to its final strength with excellent sag resistance and easy mix ratio.
Steve Webb, Senior Applications Engineer for Industrial Assembly for North America and Canada in LORD’s Performance Materials Group, will discuss the new family of high-performance adhesives in a press conference on Thursday, March 8 at 11:35 a.m. at Booth Number 5950.

Webb joined LORD in 1998, working on adhesive formulations for automotive and industrial applications. He later managed the technical services support group for industrial adhesives and then supported the global integration of the various LORD corporate entities with the corporate products and strategy. Webb has further worked as business development in the military magneto-rheological suspensions, national accounts manager for NVH solutions for military and aerospace customers and regional sales manager for adhesive for LORD in the Southeastern United States.
The Work Truck Show is an annual showcase of the newest industry products, with industry-focused training courses, and technical engineering representatives from hundreds of exhibiting companies. This year’s show takes place from March 6-9. LORD will be exhibiting at Booth Number 5950.
