The IBIS Global Summit 2015 has confirmed its final speakers, and the soon-to-be sold-out conference once more will deliver world-class content to its audience of top-level automotive executives.

Scheduled for day one, May 28, Wijnand Mebius, chairman of the board of co-operation PartsPlan, and managing director of ABS Car Repair in The Netherlands, will be discussing PartsPlan, a parts procurement and IT solution, and the Dutch accident repair market.

Wijnand is presenting on behalf of ABS, CARE, AAS, ASN, Schadenet with the key message of bodyshop chains joining forces to build economies of scale and aim for close cooperation. This aligns with the IBIS message of raising safety, skills and standards throughout the world and, as such, IBIS is delighted to have secured Wijnand for the session.

Joining Wijnand as additions to the agenda are Georg Tautz, Business Director CE Europe at Axalta Coating Systems, who will be discussing Russia and the opportunities that are still available on a global level, and Paul Sykes, Managing Director at Audatex (UK), who will be looking at what Generation Y wants and how digital innovation works as a response.

These sessions are both taking place on the second day of the conference, May 29.

They join the already announced line-up of Clive Humby, Yannis Ionniadis, Joe Funk, Rex Green, David Mills, Jake O’Neill and Andy McDonald in what looks to be the best conference content yet.

Shelley Cheshire, CEO of IBIS, said: ‘We’re delighted to have the last sessions confirmed for the conference, with such a high calibre of world-class speakers joining the existing quality contingent to deliver what we expect to be the best IBIS Global Summit to date. I look forward to seeing you all again in Athens next month.’

The IBIS Global Summit is very close to capacity with the final few delegate places expected to be gone soon.
