The Women’s Industry Network announced the kick off of the 2014 Sponsorship Drive. Sponsorships will assist the organization in its plans to provide educational and mentorship programs for women in the automotive industry in 2014.

In 2014, WIN will assume the leadership role for awarding the “Most Influential Women in the Collision Repair Industry.”  The program was established by AkzoNobel in 1999 and has recognized more than 75 women over the past 14 years.  The program's charter is to recognize women who have enriched the industry with their leadership, vision, and commitment to excellence.

In addition to leading the MIW program, new scholarship opportunities will be offered to female students entering or continuing their studies in collision repair.  Each sponsorship opportunity enables WIN to deliver on its commitment to provide women in the industry with educational opportunities that position them for future success.

“The expansion of our programs to include “Most Influential Women” awards and new scholarship opportunities is a direct result of the unwavering support WIN has received from the industry,” stated Margaret Knell, Chair of the Board of Directors.  “We gratefully acknowledge that without this broad-based response from all segments of the industry, we would be unable to continue the great programs we have in place.”

WIN offers multiple levels of Corporate Sponsorship opportunities as well as sponsorship opportunities for our annual Educational Conference and the new MIW Program.  Sponsors are recognized and identified at their levels of support on the WIN website and in promotional materials.  Acknowledgements during membership functions as well as WIN activities at NACE and other industry events are all part of WIN’s way of  recognizing sponsors.

“Winning a scholarship to the WIN Conference this year gave me the opportunity to network with women in the collision repair industry, to learn and grow in my profession.” Amanda Bolton, Estimator, O’Donnell Honda Collision Center.

Please contact Susanna Gotsch ([email protected] or 312-229-2952) or go to the WIN website for more information about sponsorship opportunities.

WIN is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to encouraging, developing and cultivating opportunities to attract women to collision repair while recognizing excellence, promoting leadership, and fostering a network among the women who are shaping the industry.
