The longtime owner of a Newark, New Jersey body shop is looking for a renter to take over the space. Just under 20,000 square feet of operational space is available for rent at 274 Central Avenue in Newark.

On a main thoroughfare, the shop's longtime owner is looking to retire. The location has  approximately 30 working spaces inside on two floors. There are four lifts, all on the ground floor, a new heating system throughout the entire space, a spray booth upstairs and a large office with seven desks. The space can be configured in many ways.

The shop is adjacent to the Newark City subway that takes you into Penn Station Newark in eight minutes and NYC in 25 minutes. NJIT, Rutgers Newark, Essex County College, Newark Collegiate, a new charter school, an 850-bed student housing facility and Bio Trials, a French pharma company, are all within walking distance

The space can be used for storage or any other type of business — the owner is open to discussing anything and everything with a credible tenant who has references. If interested, please email R. Black at  [email protected]
