NABC's golf fundraiser attracts strong roster of sponsors

More than 20 collision industry companies have signed up to join Presenting Sponsor Hertz in supporting the National Auto Body Council’s Annual Golf Fundraiser Jan. 15.
More than 20 collision industry companies have signed up to join Presenting Sponsor Hertz in supporting the National Auto Body Council's (NABC’s) Annual Golf Fundraiser, Jan. 15, 2014, at the Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort in Palm Springs, Calif. “We are excited and thrilled to have such a strong roster of sponsors already step up to support our annual fundraising event,” note David Merrell of Parts Trader and Domenic Brusco of PPG Automotive Refinish, co-chairs of NABC’s fundraising committee. “We appreciate and thank our colleagues who through their sponsorships, recognize the value our collective efforts bring in promoting the image of our collision industry.” The annual golf fundraiser is one of the NABC’s major sources of funding for its ongoing programs to promote the image of the collision industry. In addition to the popular Recycled Rides, NABC also offers two other community service programs: First Responder Emergency Extrication (FREE), and the Distracted Driving Initiative. In addition to Hertz, event sponsors to date include: Sterling Auto Body Centers, Enterprise Rent-A-Car,Axalta Coating Systems, AudaExplore, PPG Automotive Refinish, Sherwin Williams, Team PRP, ABRA, AkzoNobel, CARSTAR, LKQ, Parts Trader, Chuck Sulkala, Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc., Keenan Auto Body,KerenOr Consultants,Manchester Collision and Ten Point Complete. According to the event organizers, a limited number of sponsorship opportunities are still available ranging from $250 to $2,500. Individual entry fees are $175 or $650 for a foursome. Each registered foursome can also sign up for a hole sponsorship for an additional $100 donation. Entry fees include breakfast prior to the 10 a.m. shotgun start, post-tournament buffet reception, prize package drawings and awards ceremony.
