Milstead Automotive & Collision partners with Enterprise on site

Milstead Automotive & Collision has become a one-stop shop for clients in need of car repairs. In addition to collision, automotive, transmission, towing and fleet services, Milstead now provides customers with access to quick and easy car rentals from North America’s largest car rental brand, Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

In this unique partnership, Enterprise Rent-A-Car has set up a neighborhood site at Milstead Automotive, 29707 W. Hawthorne, Spring. “Setting up car rentals where our clients live and work is just one more way for us to help our customers,” said Amy Milstead, president of Milstead Automotive.

Both Milstead Automotive & Collision and Enterprise Rent-A-Car are family owned and operated companies known for their exceptional customer service. However, Milstead noted that today, you can’t just be customer-friendly. Now, you need to offer true convenience.

Today’s driver is very different from the one who entered Milstead’s shop when it first opened 42 years ago. She said, “Drivers now have a very different set of demands for their busy lives,” adding that cars are essential in this area, especially with the lack of public transportation.

People can no longer wait four to five hours for a car repair or a week or two for body work. That’s why having Enterprise on-site adds another layer of convenience for Milstead customers. Now, Milstead customers have a broader spectrum of newer vehicles to choose from along with the ease of being able to rent on-site from the number one car rental company in the world. Car rentals are just one of the many services Milstead offers. Customers can also find waiting rooms with access to laptops and Wi-Fi, allowing them to work while they wait. There is also a kids’ play area and refrigerators stocked with drinks and snacks.

This partnership provides several benefits to our customers, said Milstead.  According to Enterprise Rent-A-Car, insurance companies are significantly improving turn-around times – by more than 25 percent – when they refer policyholders to collision repair centers using the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Automated Rental Management System (ARMS®).
