Keenan President and COO, Michael LeVasseur announced the successful outcome of Keenan’s 15th Annual Charity Golf Outing held at Penn Oaks Golf Club on June 6th.  “I am very pleased to announce that we have raised a $28,000 for Little Smiles Philadelphia, a nearly all volunteer organization.”  “We are waiting for the final tallies and post event checks to announce the accurate total but we know it’s at least $28,000 and we couldn’t be more proud.

“The folks who drive the Phila Little Smiles charity are amazing, stated Craig Camacho, Keenan Auto Body’s Marketing Director.   “They all have full time jobs and careers but somehow find the time to bring smiles to the faces of children throughout Philadelphia and this year we want to welcome Charlotte Hummel, the new Phila Little Smiles Executive Director and thank her for her help with the event.  They should be named Huge Smiles because that is really what they do”.

Keenan has raised over $300,000 in the last 15 years for charities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Camp Make A Dream Foundation, Delaware County Children and Youth Services, The Papa Pandeli Fund, the Make A Wish Foundation, The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, Russella Educational Fund and Philadelphia Little Smiles, the same charity that was the benefactor last year.

“Without the support of our industry partners events like these would not be possible” stated Camacho.  “I want to personally and sincerely thank everyone that played a part in this year’s outing. For the golfers; it was a beautiful day with temperatures in the high 70’s and no humidity.  For our sponsors; their consistent loyalty by generously supporting our charities is incredible even in an uncertain economy.
