Seventy-two new parts were added to Ford Customer Service Division's (FCSD's) Collision Parts Truckload Program, including parts for the popular Fusion, Focus and F-series vehicle lines. Reducing the list price on these parts an average of 11 percent allows the program to be instrumental in helping collision repairers deliver high-quality, cost-effective repairs to their customers.

By offering Ford and Lincoln wholesaling dealers — the exclusive distributors of genuine Ford collision replacement parts — competitive prices on bulk purchases of high-volume collision parts, the truckload program allows them to compete more effectively against non-OEM copy parts and other parts specified by insurance customers.

"With over 475 high-demand parts currently available on the truckload program, repairers and insurers can offer our customers — Ford vehicle owners — the genuine replacement parts they want and expect at competitive prices," said George Gilbert, truckload program manager. "That means more Ford and Lincoln vehicles can be fixed with our genuine collision repair parts, which are engineered specifically to integrate with the vehicle's safety systems and with no loss of integrity or intended functionality to the vehicle's larger, personal safety system."

The 72 part additions include 14 isolator / brackets, 10 fascias, nine wheels, six Grilles/GORs/GOPs, five mirrors, five fog lamps, four headlamps, four tail lamps, four valances, four parking lamps, three steel bumpers, two side markers and two radiators.

The truckload program currently covers more than a dozen replacement part types, including bumper fascias, steel bumpers, bumper bars, exterior lighting, mirrors, car and truck radiators, wheels, header panels, grilles/GORs/GOPs, isolators/impact pads/shafts and valances.
