Empowering Destinations strives to provide vehicles to deserving families in support of their continued career goals and family obligations. Our name is derived from our passion to empower others to meet their goals by providing safe, reliable transportation. In 2015 E.D. was able to surprise the crowd at the KOOL Rides event and giveaway not one, but two vehicles to two deserving families.
Continuing the newest tradition of two vehicles to be awarded, two wonderful women walked away with vehicles for their families. Both recipients are single mothers of two young children and both are doing the best they can to not disturb their families through trials and tribulation. What drives our motivation behind Empowering Destinations is the ability to use our non-profit as a larger platform to continue the gift of giving back to our community. During the interview process we asked every applicant, “What will you do to give back?” Both mother’s, without hesitation, wanted to donate their current vehicles, that are either not running or on its last leg, to Empowering Destinations. E.D. is very grateful for these donations, as we are able to auction off for parts and put the funds back into Empowering Destination for our next vehicle giveaway. The power of these gifts keep on giving, which fills our mission and our hearts.
