LORD Corp., maker of Fusor® Automotive Repair Adhesives, has announced the winners of the 2013 Rep Agency of the Year awards.
The representatives were selected based on their performance in sales, territory growth and achieved market share increase.
  • First place goes to Total Sales & Marketing. They have represented Fusor Adhesives for 11 years. Total Sales & Marketing covers the territories of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Nevada, the panhandle of Idaho, and Montana.
  • Second place was awarded to Lucas & Associates of Jackson, N.J. In business since 1992, Lucas & Associates have represented the Fusor adhesive product line for 18 of these years. The company serves the New York City metro area, New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.
  • Third place was awarded to Advanced Collision Concepts of Bel Air, Md. With more than 20 years in the PBE business, Advanced Collision Concepts has represented the Fusor adhesive product line for 16 years. They cover the territory of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia for LORD Fusor Adhesives.
“We are extremely proud and honored to be associated with some of the most professional rep agencies in the collision repair business,” says Jim Perritt, manager, North America sales, auto aftermarket, for LORD Corp. “These awards are given to the 'best of the best' of a highly qualified, motivated, professional sales organization.”
A new Training Excellence award was created this year to recognize the top agency that conducted the most LORD Fusor adhesive/I-Car Alliance clinics for 2013. This year the award goes to ANVIL PBE Associates. Sandor Kovacs has represented LORD since 1995 and has owned ANVIL PBE Associates since 2002. His son, Alex Kovacs, joined the business two years ago. The company has a territory that includes western New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland as well as eastern Kentucky.
“The value of product and application training cannot be overstated. It helps body shops to standardize repair procedures and reduce cycle times, resulting in better quality repairs, increased profitability and higher CSI,” says Perritt. “Thanks to the dedication of ANVIL PBE Associates and our other rep agencies, LORD has conducted the most Alliance courses of all I-Car Alliance members for the past two years.”
