LORD Corporation and Saint-Gobain Media Stage Presentation, Thurs, July 27, 2 p.m. CST on the NACE Automechanika Chicago 2017 media stage. LORD Corporation and Saint-Gobain representatives will provide details about their new partnership and the addition of Fusor to the full line of products the Saint-Gobain Refinish Solutions Group (RSG) distributes to body shops in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
RSG is a network of industry leaders committed to helping collision shops optimize their refinish process and outcomes to improve profitability for shops, while maintaining the product and technical expertise of its partners. LORD will continue to provide support and supply adhesives directly to OEMs and their distributors to further enhance Fusor’s long-standing OEM connection. Julie Miller, Global Business Manager for Aftermarket, LORD Corporation, says Fusor is eager to share the details of its new distribution partnership with Saint-Gobain and how together they are able to better serve their respective customers. Body shops can now have a single point of contact for adhesives, abrasives, polishes, tape, equipment and training improving efficiency and productivity in the their shop.
“Multi-shop operators (MSO) consolidation and distributor consolidation offers the ability to bring a full line offering to the body shop in terms of inventory management and improving overall efficiency at both the MSO and distributor level,” Miller says. “While Saint-Gobain concentrates on sales and service excellence, Fusor can focus on developing new, innovative, cutting edge adhesives and sealers while supporting OEMs in the collision industry.”
In addition to the training courses and media stage presentation, LORD Corporation is also sponsoring the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) 16th Annual Helicopter Golf Ball Drop on July 24, which is being held in conjunction with NACE Automechanika Chicago 2017.
