Redline Detection announced that it is expanding its successful internship program, now in its seventh year. Zack Parker, president of Redline Detection, spoke from the Equipment and Tool Institute’s annual Tool Tech meeting.

“Every year, we get many times more applicants than we have internship positions available. Based upon the growth of this program – and thanks to Redline’s unprecedented success this year – we are delighted to be in a position to expand our internship program,” Parker said.

Redline Detection is dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities to help young people enter the professional world. The company is known for manufacturing smoke machines for automotive use, Smoke Pro, as well as new high pressure diagnostic leak detection equipment for boosted vehicles and heavy duty applications that has been globally mandated in 112 countries, PowerSmoke PRO and HD PowerSmoke. This technology provides quick diagnostic ability for naturally aspirated passenger vehicles, high performance turbo/ boosted/ diesel vehicles, heavy duty trucks and even large scale constructions, agricultural and mining equipment.

Redline internship opportunities are only promoted via social media and the response is enthusiastic. Within the first 24 hours of publishing, the internship opportunities on social media there were over 100 applicants. Mr. Parker said, “As the world’s leader in diagnostic leak detection, we want to inspire other manufacturers to join us in helping young people to get a good start in their careers. We are working to onboard the best and the brightest young people to our industry.”
