Application

The high-performance Wedge XT shines a powerful light into spaces an overhead light cannot reach. Auto professionals can simply reach into their pocket for quick access to bright light for inspecting under a chassis, hood, or dashboard.  It’s handy for times when searching for a dropped screw or part on the floor, or for pinpointing trouble deep within an engine.

Origin

Modeled after the popular Wedge EDC light from Streamlight, the more compact, ergonomic design of the Wedge XT provides comfortable deep pocket carry for automotive technicians. The Wedge XT replaces the rotary side switch with a tactical push-button tail switch for even easier one-handed operation in an automotive setting. Overall, providing the form, fit, and function requested by customers.

Features and benefits

  • The Wedge XT is a compact everyday carry light that fits easily in pockets or attaches to clothing items via its pocket clip.
  • The handy tail switch and ergonomic design allow technicians to operate the light with just one hand.
  • Because its USB rechargeable battery can be conveniently charged within the light, the Wedge XT will be ready to illuminate a space when needed. Red and green indicator LEDs above the charge port provide charge status.

Manufacturing/engineering specifications

Made from rugged anodized aluminum and featuring a polycarbonate lens, the Wedge XT balances durability with performance. Measuring 4.25" long and 1" high, it weighs 2.62 oz. with the battery. It is IPX7-rated for waterproof operation to one meter; it's also impact-resistance tested to 1m.
