Automechanika Middle East 2010 is the leading event for the rapidly developing automotive aftermarket in the wider Middle East and Africa. This trade event covers the full range of parts for motor vehicles, as well as components for the drive, chassis, body, electrics and electronic groups, equipment for vehicle service and repair, bodywork repair and painting, tires, batteries and performance systems.

Sales Potential – According to Business Monitor International, it is estimated that there are 1.4 million vehicles in the UAE, with a 10% annual growth. Japan, Europe and the U.S are the main suppliers of vehicles. The auto parts and components sector has been growing rapidly. It is estimated that about 65 percent of the imported auto parts and accessories are re-exported to other countries. Auto part and accessories are among the top 10 re-export products of Dubai and have seen an annual growth of about 20 percent. The main destinations of these re-exports are Middle East, Africa and East Europe.

Through certification, the U.S. Commercial Service recognizes the capability and exhibition experience of MesseFrankfurt to organize a world class pavilion for U.S. exhibitors to showcase products and services for the automotive aftermarket industry.  The U.S. Pavilion serves as an excellent venue for U.S. companies to establish and expand overseas distribution, generate sales leads, evaluate competitors, and to work with U.S. Commercial Service Trade Specialists to identify potential buyers and partners.

The U.S. Commercial Service helps U.S. companies establish international business relationships. The agency’s global network includes locations in more than 107 U.S. cities and in American consulates and embassies in nearly 80 countries.
