The U.S. Department of Commerce’s U.S. Commercial Service is pleased to announce that it has granted Trade Fair Certification status to Messe Frankfurt to organize the official United States Exhibitor Pavilion at AUTOMECHANIKA 2010, September 14 - 19, 2010 held at the Messe Frankfurt Fairgrounds, Frankfurt, Germany.

As the world’s largest trade fair for the automotive aftermarket, Automechanika 2010 spotlights innovations and solutions in the sectors of automotive parts, systems, tuning, workshop equipment, bodywork & paintwork, car wash, IT & Management and the latest automobile services. The USA Pavilion offers a turnkey package, which includes: exhibit space rental, hard wall elements, company signage, carpet, table & chairs, spot lights, shelving units and on-site management by MesseFrankfurt.

Sales Potential - Germany is the largest market in the European Union for automotive products with 46.6 million passenger vehicles and 3.2 million heavy trucks on the road. In Western Europe, German manufacturers account for 47 percent of all of the vehicles sold, and close to 20 percent of vehicles sold worldwide. German importers of automotive original equipment and systems (OE) are very receptive to U.S. products. Automechanika not only covers the German and European markets, but is also renowned for its “third-country” business, with exhibitors from 80 countries making business contacts with visitors from more than 140 countries.

Through certification, the U.S. Commercial Service recognizes the capability and exhibition experience of Messe Frankfurt to organize a world class pavilion for U.S. exhibitors to showcase products and services for the automotive aftermarket industry.  The U.S. Pavilion serves as an excellent venue for U.S. companies to establish and expand overseas distribution, generate sales leads, evaluate competitors, and to work with U.S. Commercial Service Trade Specialists to identify potential buyers and partners.

The U.S. Commercial Service helps U.S. companies establish international business relationships. The agency’s global network includes locations in more than 107 U.S. cities and in American consulates and embassies in nearly 80 countries. For more information on the U.S. Commercial Service, please visit www.export.gov.

U.S. Commercial Service staff from the U.S. Consulate in Frankfurt will be available at Automechanika 2010 to assist U.S. firms with their export needs, and to facilitate contacts between U.S. exhibitors and business visitors. Interested U.S. exhibitors should contact Bridget Ferris at MesseFrankfurt USA: [email protected].
