Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems is opening a new Pilot Truck Care Center in Oklahoma City. There are now 23 on-highway Pilot outlets nationwide. Besides offering new tires, the centers supply retreads, tire management tools and other products for trucking fleets.

The new center is located on Interstate 40 at Exit 140. It will provide limited mechanical service, preventive maintenance and roadside assistance along with its stock of retreads and new tires.

“This new center supports our truck tire customers and their request for an on-highway presence,” says Brent Copeland, Wingfoot’s president and chief operating officer. “It is important that we bring our fleet maintenance services closer to where they’re needed,” he points out.

“In addition, the Oklahoma City center is another big step in our effort to help lower trucking fleets’ tire and maintenance operating costs with important tire- and maintenance-tracking tools available in more locations throughout the United States,” Copeland says.

Wingfoot is a subsidiary of Goodyear with more than 170 commercial tire sales, service and retread facilities nationwide, including the 23 Pilot Truck Care Centers.
