Racers Billy Glidden and Brad Brand have notched noteworthy performances at the Street Car Super Nationals VII while running on Mickey Thompson tires and wheels.

Brand's Atlanta Chassis Dyno “Triple B” Mustang achieved the world’s first five- second runs on 3169W ET Drag tires, earning him a $1,500 bonus from the supplier along with the world record. Brand went on to win his first two elimination rounds following qualification in the Pro Street class.

Glidden won in the Outlaw 10.5 Class on 3169W ET Drag tires and Pro-5 Drag Wheels.

“What a great event for these competitors on our 3169W ET Drag tires,” says Carl Robinson, motorsports manager at Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels. He describes the situation “as one of the most memorable events of the year and an incredible way to end the season.”
