Kumho Tire USA is increasing prices up to 12 percent on selected products. The sales increase is a result of market pressures created by the recent increased tariff on passenger and light truck tires produced in China for distribution in the United States, the company reports.

The effective dates of this increase will be Sept. 26 for limited patterns and Oct. 1 for the remainder of the products.

“It is Kumho’s goal to minimize the impact of this imposed tariff on our customers and ultimately the consumer,” says J.B. Kim, President and CEO of Kumho Tire USA. “We will make every effort to maintain a consistent supply of Kumho products that deliver unparalleled value and performance to the important US market.”

Founded in 1975 and headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Kumho tire U.S.A. is the U.S. distribution arm of Kumho Tire Co. For more information, visit www.kumhotireusa.com.
