Educational funds from Michelin and the Tire Industry Association (TIA) will be awarded to three aspiring students.

Amounting to a total of $5,000, the 2010 Michelin/TIA Scholarship plan covers part-time tire dealer workers or the dependent children of full-time TIA-member employees.

The program is aimed at high school seniors with a GPA of at least 3.0. Documentation requirements include submitting a one-page essay.

The deadline to apply is Monday, March 22.
