The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has launched its latest electronic endeavor, the ASA Marketplace. Housing money-saving offers for repair businesses, the ASA Marketplace is designed as a one-stop shop for ASA’s benefits portfolio for members.

In addition, the marketplace hosts offers such as special discounts on FedEx, Sprint and OfficeMax. These newly expanded offers allow ASA members to take advantage of pre-negotiated services with selected vendors.

“Beyond ASA’s traditional benefits portfolio, the association now brings members more than 25 new cost-saving offers through the ASA Marketplace specifically designed to help small businesses reduce costs and increase profitability. When combined with ASA’s traditional benefits programs, the ASA Marketplace provides unmatched value to today’s repair professional,” says John Scully, executive vice president, ASA.

Members can access the ASA Marketplace through the links provided on the Member Benefits pages on both the public and Members Only sections of the ASA Web site, www.ASAshop.org. ASA members can access the site using their e-mail address and the password “asa.”

The ASA Marketplace contains other categories, including insurance, wireless services, shipping, estimating and diagnostics, office supplies and finance. The site also includes access to Employee Perks, which offers discounts at more than 25,000 merchants in categories ranging from restaurants to theaters to apparel to electronics.

“Each vendor is carefully selected and rigorously negotiated,” says Ron Pyle, ASA’s president and chief staff executive. “The ASA Marketplace offers the latest in content delivery technology, ease of use and is always up to date. Our expanded benefits portfolio is available to all ASA members and is designed to enhance their success and better serve the motoring public.”

Non-members can access a guest account as well. This allows visitors to www.ASAshop.org to login to the ASA Marketplace as non-members and view the discount programs available. Username and password information for non-members is available on the home page of the ASA Web site.

For more information on member benefits or to join, visit www.ASAshop.org or call (800) 272-7467, ext. 295.
