Real work. It’s what automotive technicians do every day, whether they are repairing a car or painting a hood. Having the tools and equipment that work as hard as they do is a must. The Ingersoll Rand® power tools and compressed air experts will be at SEMA Booth #10160 with new, must-have tools that will help technicians get the job done right, the first time. Here’s a look at the innovative solutions Ingersoll Rand will exhibit at SEMA:Power Tools’ Innovative Solutions for Auto Technicians Ingersoll Rand Power Tools, the official power tools of NASCAR®, released more new tools this year than any other year in its history. At the top of the list is the IQV20 W5132 ImpactoolTM - the most power-full, cord-less 3/8” impact wrench on the market - delivering up to 50 percent more torque compared to the leading cordless 3/8” impact wrench. The W5132 Impactool has 550 foot-pounds of nut-busting torque, 365 foot-pounds of max reverse torque and the best power-to-weight ratio of any cordless impact tool on the market.
To bust through crunch time, turn to the new Ingersoll Rand PowerSocketTM. The PowerSocket fits directly on the square drive of a half-inch impact tool, adding up to 50 percent more torque compared to a stand-alone tool. The PowerSocket can bust loose virtually any bolt, no matter how stubborn or rusted. Ingersoll Rand just expanded the line to add 18mm, 22mm and 24mm. To finish surfaces in those tight spaces such as door jams and mirrors, Ingersoll Rand has the new cordless, multi-purpose IQV12 Series G1621 Polisher/Sander. It has a two-speed gearbox and a variable speed lever that allows technicians to adjust the speed of the tool to adapt to many surfaces while protecting surfaces from heat damage.Quality Compressed Air Equals Quality Work & Tool Performance Mechanical technicians and body and paint specialists appreciate the need for clean, dry air. With Ingersoll Rand compressors, technicians can get jobs done quickly and efficiently. Integrated, high-performance dryers, a three-in-one heat exchanger and an independent fan circuit are all included in the TAS package to consistently generate dry, clean air.
