Porsche added to Snap-on Software Upgrade 14.2 Optional European Coverage

With the optional European software available for the new Software Upgrade 14.2, Snap-on has added brand new Porsche coverage for 2003-2013 models, as well as newly enhanced coverage for 10 other European makes.

With the optional European software available for the new Software Upgrade 14.2, Snap-on has added brand new Porsche® coverage for 2003-2013 models, as well as newly enhanced coverage for 10 other European makes including Audi®, BMW®, FIAT®, Jaguar®, Land Rover®, Mercedes-Benz®, MINI®, Smart Car®, Volkswagen® and Volvo®. Through June 27, 2014, software upgrades are available at 10 percent off from participating Snap-on representatives in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

  • BMW/MINI: Intelligent Battery System Support for Codes, Data, Testing, Assign New Battery to ECU; Full Vehicle Codes Scan 2005 and newer; Lamp Control 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, Series 2002, 3 and 7 Series 2004; Rain Sensor 2007-2011; Power Management 2002 and newer
  • Jaguar: Engine Freeze Frame 2002 and newer S-Type; Relearn Traction Control after code clearing; Active Booster and Steering Sensor 2002 and newer S-Type; Security System coverage on 2006 and newer vehicles; Security Test; Air Suspension 2008 and newer
  • Land Rover: Full Vehicle Code Scan 2007 and newer; Clear All Codes 2007 and newer; Instrument Cluster Functional Tests 2010 and newer Freelander II; Occupant Classification Codes, Data, Functional Tests and Recalibrations 2008-2010
  • Mercedes-Benz: Clear all Codes 2005 and newer
  • Smart Car: Electronic Selector Module 1998 and newer; Occupant Classification
  • Volvo: Door Modules 2006 and newer; Window Modules 2006 and newer; Full Vehicle Code Scan 2000-2004

Software Upgrade 14.2 helps technicians work at peak performance with more than 50,000 new or enhanced codes, tips and tests going back to 2005 for all major makes, as well as new 2013 domestic and Asian model year coverage for Acura®, Chrysler®, Ford®, Honda®, Hyundai®, Kia® and Mitsubishi® vehicles.
