In observance of the May 30, 2011 Memorial Day, active military members as well as veterans who visit their local Honest-1 Auto Care location between May 23 and June 4 will receive a gift certificate for their choice of either a free oil change or $25 off their next service or repair work. To receive a certificate from the shop, military personnel simply present an Active, Retired or Dependent military ID card or DD214 discharge certificate.
To bring the message home even harder, each of Honest-1 Auto Care’s 22 locations nationwide has mailed 300 gift certificates, a grand total of 6,660, to veterans in their database inviting them to come in for a free basic oil change and filter. The offer represents a value of $34.95.
