The Auto Care Association will equip the auto care community with the resources needed to increase awareness while identifying opportunities for hometown engagement, including:
- Legislator tours of industry facilities (e.g., factories, distribution centers, stores, shops)
- Meetings at local district or state offices
- Town halls and community events
- Local fundraisers
“Coming off the success of last year’s Auto Care Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C., we need to continue that momentum and find ways to spread our industry’s message among legislators back home in the districts and states,” said Auto Care Association President and CEO Bill Hanvey. “Only so much can be done in Washington. Elected officials want to hear from the voters and we want industry leaders in every town in America ready and willing to deliver our message.”
The Auto Care Hometown Summit will provide a unique opportunity for engaged auto care stakeholders already interested in getting involved this campaign season to represent the interests of their company and the auto care industry at-large.
