What did CES 2016 teach us about the connected car?

Feb. 8, 2016
Our round table panelists discuss their opinions on the connected car after attending the Consumer Electronics Show early in 2016.
To say you are in for a deep and powerful discussion about the connect car is an understatement. Announcing the release of Behind the Scenes in the Connected Car: Part 2.

In a round table discussion our panel consists of four very ‘connected’ individuals when it comes to the connected car. With vehicle technology a big part of the Consumer Electronics Show in early 2016, it demonstrates the importance of the high tech connected car. This episode builds on Part 1 to see if the panel changed their minds after attending the CES. Most car manufacturers had a presence at the CES and were showing many tech enhancements that may illustrate the future direction of the connected car.

As the future unfolds with rapidly evolving technology as the centerpiece of performance and connectivity, the issues of security, updateability, telematics, the internet of things, warranty, data bases, recalls, new operating business models, regulatory bodies, silicon valley, the car manufactures, Google and Apple are all real world concerns. All of these topics and more are discussed in a very eye-opening episode where concepts, ideas and possibilities are explored and it may just make you sit up and pay attention to the impact technology will have on the future and on decisions being made today.

The Remarkable Results Radio Face-To-Face podcast round table includes Roger Lanctot with Strategy Analytics, David Miller with Covisint, Mahbubul Alam from Movimento and John Ellis from Ellis & Associates. A very robust and engaging discussion that will make you smarter about the realities and challenges of the connected car.
