The award recognizes Timken for its high quality products and the exemplary level of service provided to members of the network. The winning supplier was selected based on member nominations and voting.

“It’s an honor to have the Automotive Distribution Network recognize Timken for our quality products,” said Thomas W. Tecklenburg, director of automotive aftermarket for Timken. “Being selected by professional installers for product performance and honored for enabling them to do the job right the first time makes this award particularly meaningful.”

Mike Lambert, president of the Automotive Distribution Network, added, "our vendors work hard to meet and exceed members needs, and their efforts are rewarded each year with this recognition. We are pleased to recognize Timken for its exceptional quality products. Our Quality Awards are based on performance at the service dealer level, and, when it comes to bearings, they ask for Timken by name."

The award was presented on Feb. 26, 2012, at the closing ceremony of the 12th Automotive Distribution Network National Convention in Las Vegas, Nev.
