The results of the ‘Best of the Best’ Bosch Car Service (BCS) contest are in. Per the rules of the competition, three shop owners whose facilities best exemplify the standards of excellence upheld by the BCS brand have won the prize – a two-day trip (April 29-30) with Bosch to Hendrick Motorsports in Concord, N.C. Each winning shop owner and a guest had the unique opportunity to tour the facility, watch pit practice, visit the engine shop, speak with Engine Department personnel and see Rick Hendrick’s private car collection first-hand.

According to the judges at Bosch, the three outstanding submissions were from Curt Massoll of Curt’s Service Inc. in Oak Park, Mich.; Sevan Garabedian, of Integrity Motorcar in Yorba Linda, Calif.; and Voit Rich of Autowerkes Maine Inc. in Freeport, Maine. Contest participants were judged on the basis of how closely the photo that they submitted of their shop represented the Bosch Car Service brand.

“While all BCS shops are winners in their own right, the three photos selected in the contest stand out because they pay very close attention to maintaining a professional and up-to-date business environment – just the way our exclusive Bosch Car Service network is perceived,” said Tony Pauly, Director of Advertising and Brand Management at Robert Bosch LLC.

“Bosch’s partnership with Hendrick Motorsports has been key to providing this access for our winners,” said Pauly. Hendrick Motorsports team engines are equipped with Bosch spark plugs, alternators, starters, fuel injectors, oxygen sensors, fuel pumps and ignition coils.

The Bosch Car Service network is a collection of top independent repair centers, servicing gasoline, diesel and hybrid-powered vehicles. Bosch Service centers receive quality parts, diagnostic and wheel service equipment and training from Bosch, the largest automotive original equipment and aftermarket parts manufacturer in the world.

“Top-notch independent repair shops – or those that are looking to be a part of a network that can help them achieve greater visibility and success – are encouraged to join the Bosch Car Service Network,” said Mark Polke, Director of Workshop Concepts and Service for Bosch Car Service at Robert Bosch LLC. “Partnering with Bosch provides shops access to the most current technical service information, highest quality parts and a wide variety of merchandising tools from the world’s largest supplier of automotive parts and systems to vehicle manufacturers and the aftermarket,” he said.
