SYLVANIA Automotive Lighting has teamed up with New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) to deliver the high-energy sport of Global RallyCross to motorsports fans with the introduction of the SYLVANIA SilverStar® zXe Global RallyCross Race, which makes its first-ever appearance at NHMS on July 14.

Global RallyCross – a cutting-edge, rapidly growing, high- performance style of racing – is a perfect match for SilverStar® zXe, SYLVANIA’S high-performing headlight bulb created especially for today’s generation of performance enthusiasts.
Attracting hundreds of thousands of fans since its inception at the 2010 X Games, Global RallyCross puts a U.S. twist on the European sport of rallycross by combining circuit racing, off-road racing and rally competition. Small, heavily modified cars race door-to-door in heats featuring dirt, asphalt and large gap jumps.

The SYLVANIA SilverStar® zXe Global RallyCross Race will be broadcast live on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET on July 14. SilverStar® zXe logos will be featured on banners, posters and ESPN bumpers at the race. In addition, SYLVANIA team members will take part in the Victory Lane presentation of the SilverStar® zXe-branded trophies to the winners.
SYLVANIA SilverStar® zXe headlight bulbs are the newest and whitest color temperature product in the SYLVANIA SilverStar® High Performance Series lineup, giving enthusiasts the look and feel of high intensity discharge headlights. SilverStar zXe headlights feature a nanotechnology-infused coating system that enabled SYLVANIA engineers to optimize the color of light output. A mirror tip – which features precious metals – provides a striking jeweled look, even when unlit.
