To help professional technicians navigate the features and functionality of TRITON-D8 with Intelligent Diagnostics, Snap-on® has added 13 new Training Solutions videos to its website at http://diagnostics.snapon.com/trainingsolutions, which can be viewed free-of-charge.

The Training Solutions videos teach technicians how they can get the most out of their TRITON-D8 diagnostic tool through short instructional sessions on specific topics, allowing them to quickly get answers on different aspects of tool operation. Topics include introduction and navigation, scanner codes, Intelligent Diagnostics, Fast-Track® Troubleshooter, digital multimeter functions and more. Visit the Snap-on website for a complete list of subjects.

Training Solutions videos provide quality product training that is available to technicians 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week, when it is most convenient for them. They can revisit the training sessions as often as necessary to learn at their own pace and comfort level.

Each module is hosted by National Field Trainer Jim Moritz. With over 30 years of experience in automotive diagnostics, engineering, marketing, training and technical support, he has developed over 100 training courses and trained over 100,000 students. His memberships and certifications include NASTF, ETI, SAE and ASE.

TRITON-D8 features Intelligent Diagnostics, the most sophisticated and intuitive software Snap-on has ever created. It saves technicians time by intuitively guiding them straight through the diagnostic workflow, from pinpointing the problem, to finding the fix – while eliminating the steps they don’t need. Only information that is relevant to the specific vehicle and fault code is displayed in one scrolling, easy-to-navigate screen.

Intelligent Diagnostics uses “Smart Data” to automatically configure the display to show vehicle data parameters (PID) relevant to the fault code, while non-related data parameters are filtered out to save time. It also highlights vehicle data that is out of expected range. In addition, Intelligent Diagnostics offers the extra assurances of SureTrack® expert information, technical service bulletins (TSB) and quick access to functional tests and resets - within a highly intuitive user interface that’s simple to learn and operate.
