ZF Services has released 60 new part numbers in its original equipment technology ride control program under the Sachs brand for the passenger car and light truck vehicle market.

ZF Services, LLC, the strategic aftermarket business unit of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, has released 60 new part numbers in its original equipment technology ride control program under the Sachs brand for the passenger car and light truck vehicle market.

Strategically chosen, in order to maximize the greatest SKU efficiency, the newly issued Sachs part numbers have application coverage for over 17 million vehicles on the road today. This new coverage complements the Sachs OE replacement single brand approach aimed at simplifying the purchase decision at the point of installation. “Sachs has always taken a data driven approach to releasing the appropriate technology for shocks and struts matched to what consumers want to drive” said Eric Banas, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Ride Control. “By evaluating the age of the vehicle and need in the market, we can benefit our customers with leading coverage along with the latest OE technology and quality.”

Included in the recently expanded Sachs ride control line offering is coverage for current model vehicles. Such vehicles include:
• 2012-2007 Chevy Silverado, Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Sierra and Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade, with 3.69M VIO

• 2011-1997 Buick Century, Chevy Impala and Monte Carlo, Pontiac Grand Prix, with 5.29M VIO

Included in the new line expansion are the heavily demanded, factory fully assembled premium Sachs strut and spring assemblies for the 2005-2000 Ford Focus and the 2007-2000 Ford Taurus with over one million vehicles in operation (VIO).
