Made for the road ahead

In fact, few might realize that the world’s premier ride control brand actually began as a manufacturer of tire pumps for bicycles and early automobiles. Several years later, Monroe engineers identified the need to improve on the harsh steering and handling characteristics of carriage spring suspensions. They answered this challenge with the introduction of the first automotive shock absorber, the Monroe Shock Eliminator. The rest, as they say, is history.
