Automotive repair professionals toured the region’s Garage Gurus training center, located at 6690 Jones Mill Court in Norcross, for a first-hand look at the state-of-the-art diagnostic and repair equipment and other resources that will be used in each training course. They also inspected two of Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ Web-connected “Gurus-On-The-Go” product technology vans, which travel among regional repair shops providing technicians with problem-solving solutions, technical assistance and local training. In addition to the new training center in Norcross, Federal-Mogul Motorparts operates Garage Gurus facilities in Greater Chicago (Skokie, Ill.), Van Nuys, Calif., and the Bronx, N.Y. Three additional Garage Gurus locations – in Baltimore, Dallas/Fort Worth and Rancho Dominguez, Calif. – will open later this week.
