A four-post lift from Direct Lift lets car owners store two vehicles in a single garage bay or raise a vehicle to work on it more comfortably. But homeowners aren’t always sure the lift will fit in the garage.

“The number one question we’re asked is: ‘How high does my ceiling need to be in order to fit a four-post lift in my garage?’” explains David Fischmer, Direct Lift marketing communications manager. “Our interactive Ceiling Height Calculator and video walk customers through a few easy steps to determine which lifts will meet their needs.”

Customers simply choose a lift, measure their vehicles and use the calculator to determine the necessary drive-through and drive-under heights. The calculator then provides the total ceiling height necessary to accommodate the selected lift and vehicles.

The “Knowledge Tube – Ceiling Height Calculator” video is the first in a series of educational videos from Direct Lift. The video can be found at http://www.directlift.com/Video/Default.aspx and on YouTube. A link to the Ceiling Height Calculator is located on the Direct Lift home page, www.directlift.com.
