Dale Earnhardt Jr. drove his Bosch-equipped No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet SS to victory lane during Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series event at Talladega Superspeedway. In recognition of Earnhardt’s victory, Bosch Aftermarket NA is contributing a third $1,000 donation to the Hendrick Marrow Program.

The Hendrick Marrow Program works to raise money to help cover uninsured costs of transplants through the Hendrick Family Fund for patient assistance, while growing the Be The Match® Registry of volunteer donors. Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports, established the Hendrick Marrow Program of the Be The Match® Foundation, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program, after being diagnosed with leukemia in 1997.

“What a spectacular race and win for Dale Jr. that will once again benefit this wonderful charity as it works to establish greater support for those needing bone marrow transplants,” said Tony Pauly, director of advertising and brand management for Bosch Automotive Aftermarket North America. “Superspeedway racing provides an exemplary demonstration of the quality that goes into every Bosch part, and we’re thrilled that Hendrick Motorsports places its trust in our parts to get to victory lane time and time again.”

Bosch Aftermarket has a long-standing partnership with the NASCAR® Sprint Cup Series™.  Bosch has provided quality parts — such as oxygen sensors, spark plugs, injectors, alternators, coils, filters, fuel pumps, starters and pressure regulators — to several NASCAR® teams for more than a decade, helping them to numerous appearances in victory lane and seven Sprint Cup Series™ championships since 2001.
