Bosch offers QuietCast disc brake pads for nearly every vehicle in popular use in North America, including domestic and import cars, SUVs, crossovers, performance cars, and light trucks. QuietCast disc brake pads are application-engineered from multiple friction formulations to match the OE friction type, are designed with vulcanized rubber core shims for noise reduction, and feature Bosch¹s exclusive Molded Shim Technology (MST), ensuring the shim stays attached for the life of the pad.

Explains David Terry, Manager, Friction Products for Robert Bosch LLC, "Our QuietCast brake pads offer platform-specific ceramic, semi-metallic and non-asbestos organic (NAO) formulations, selected to be most appropriate for each vehicle within the 95 percent coverage we offer for Asian, Domestic and European automobiles, light trucks and SUVs throughout the United States and Canada."

"Further," adds Terry, "Our QuietCast disc brake pads feature rubber-core shims and many include Molded Shim Technology (MST), which adds long lasting anti-squeal characteristics to our friction formulations."
