Robert Bosch LLC, a supplier of automotive parts to original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and the aftermarket, has expanded its disc brake pad coverage for Asian, domestic and European vehicles. This latest expansion offers five new Bosch Blue Brake Pad part numbers and five new Bosch QuietCast™ Brake Pad part numbers, including one copper-free set.
The new QuietCast part numbers cover an additional 1.1 million units in operation. They feature a pre-attached rubber core shim – the best available in the industry. Mainly used by original equipment manufacturers, the rubber core shim is exclusively offered by Bosch for the independent aftermarket.
“With one in every three vehicles in North America – Asian, Domestic or European – using Bosch braking components, Bosch is committed to the research and development of new and innovative automotive technologies that will drive the industry forward,” said Rob Backode, Director, Product Management, Braking, Robert Bosch LLC. “Continued expansion of coverage for late model vehicles seen on the road, is one of the many ways that Bosch supports automotive repair technicians and sales professionals that serve the needs of motorists.”
