“We had almost 900 industry professionals at ATE 2013 and a record number of shop owners, managers, service advisors, technicians, and 74 auto instructors from high schools, and colleges attended three days of management and technical training,” said Jeff Lovell, President/Executive Director of ASA Northwest, the event producer.

More than 55 classes for mechanical, collision, and service facilities were presented at ATE and covered topics from Selling the Value to Gasoline Direct Injection to Strategies for Waveform Analysis.  Training seminars were instructed by North America’s top management and technical trainers.

The keynote speaker for the Saturday breakfast was Bill Haas, renowned trainer presented “Rewarding Bad Behavior” to the attendees.  The keynote speaker for Saturday lunch was Steve Beck who energized the lunch crowd with his presentation of “27 Ways To Have A Great Business and A Great Life”.

In addition to three days of classes, ATE once again offered an extensive trade expo featuring exhibitors displaying automotive parts, specialty products, service and repair equipment, and shop management services.  Lot of door prizes were presented to the ATE attendees at the show.

“It is so gratifying to have ATE grow each year and has established itself as the West Coast’s premier training event,” Jeff Lovell said. “Our staff and volunteers help make this exceptional event that provides quality training to all levels of the service and repair industry.”

The Education Committee did a great job of choosing seminars that the automotive industry needs,” said Joel Baxter, ASA Northwest Chairman of the Board, B & B Auto Repair, Inc.  “ATE is one of the most affordable training events on the West Coast.  The goal of the ASA Northwest Board and staff is to make everyone attending ATE feel like they are special and more than just a face in the crowd.”

ATE is sponsored by ASA Northwest, the Northwest Tire Dealers Association, the Washington Automotive Wholesalers Association with the Official Medial Sponsor being Parts & People Northwest.

The 2014 ATE event will be held March 21-23, at the Doubletree Hilton Seattle Airport in SeaTac.  For information on ATE, visit www.atetrainingexpo.com or call ASA Northwest at (253) 473-6970.
